It brings together a wonderful selection of traditional tunes from both sides of the Border, from the most soulful of airs to the most rocking of reels. It contains 42 tunes, long and short, including some which are so good that any one of them will more than repay you for the cost of the whole book. Full notes are included on all the tunes as well as a selection of contextual versions.

This is my first new publication since 2002. I thought I had retired from publishing in 2003 - it’s a long story, but here I am beginning again, again. I’m not making rash promises, but it is my intention that Over The Hills And Far Away will be the first of a series of books which, inshallah, will bring the Border pipe repertoire to the next stage of its evolution.
