The Matt Seattle Band THE MATT SEATTLE BAND came together in 2008 for a cameo performance at Denholm Folk Festival. We and our audience enjoyed it so much we did some more gigs, recorded REIVERS OF THE HEART.
Lewis and Frazer, youthful nomads following the Muse from Tweedside to Tashkent, Donald Knox, harmonic alchemist of Teviotdale, and Matt Seattle, gnarled wizard of the Border pipes, weave a sonic carpet to transport you from the Eildons to Elfland. These Reivers will not lift your cattle, they will lift your Heart and give it back to you - reprogrammed! Still flying, and now expanding into song, we are available for bookings, enquiries to Frazer Watson mcdougal@postmaster.co.uk |

Grown from a traditional air to the ballad of Thomas Rhymer, the 13th century seer of Earlston. The Rhymer's journey pushes the envelope of Border music beyond reason.
